Hi, I'm Katie!

I'm an Art Director & Graphic Designer living and working in Toronto, Canada. Originally from Costa Rica, one day I decided it was a good idea to trade 12 months of summer for 13 months of winter.

I got small agency, medium agency, freelance and corporate experience under my belt, creating marketing materials, in both digital (web banners, social posts, newsletters, etc.) and print media (packaging, posters, flyers, magazine ads, etc.). I've been lucky to have worked with different brands like Bell Media, Canadian Tire, Advil, Serta, Pfizer, Canadian Cancer Society, and others.

When I'm not working, you can find me drawing on my iPad, finding the best eats in the city, or planning my next travel adventure to somewhere with medieval castles.

Favourite hobby: I've collected over 800 postcards from over 100 countries and territories, including Antartica!

Best place I've been to: Ireland 🇮🇪 I've been do Dublin, Belfast, Killarney, Cork, but my heart belongs to Galway 💘.

If I were to choose another career it would be: pastry chef—sometimes I get commissioned to make custom cakes 🍰.

If I could eat something for the rest of my life: tacos 🌮 because there are so many ways to make (eat) one.
